What does a Support do?
Supports are utility-focused roamers who amplify their team through healing, shielding, crowd control, and vision. They attach a Roaming Blessing to their boots early so their gold comes from assists and map presence rather than farming. Supports split into two archetypes: healer supports like Floryn, Estes, and Rafaela who sustain allies through prolonged fights, and engage supports like Mathilda, Kalea, and Diggie who set up plays. A Support's core job is the same: keep your carries alive, control vision by checking bushes, and set up plays that your team converts into objectives.
Supports are the team's backbone. They roam between lanes, keep vision on key areas, and turn small advantages into kills for their carries. In teamfights they hover around the damage dealers — healing, shielding, peeling, and landing the utility that wins the fight.

How to counter Support heroes
To beat a Support, deny them the fights they want. Burst their carry before healing can land, spread out to minimize AoE shields and heals, and build anti-heal items to cut their sustain. Supports are low-damage — when their team is scattered and their carry is focused, they can't carry the game themselves.
